UX Testing responses summery

As i had discussed in the previous post on "UX TESTING MY WEBSITE" what is all about and how i created feedback form.For this post i am going to be talking about the responses i got form friends that had a chance to visit my website.I achieved this by asking my friends to look at my work and be free to give any response about their feelings about the website.I did not have more time to reach out to many friends for more responses but at least i got 8 responses that i could work with.This responses are to help me improve my website.Below find how different people responded;


Forms response chart. Question title: 1.In a scale of 10 how do you like the design of the home page?. Number of responses: 8 responses.

For this question about how they felt about the design about my website, more people felt that the design was partly good for the photography project.The fact that more people were happy about it there was still someone who felt that may be i could use a different design.Hoping to find further information about how people feel about the design.

A lot of people felt that the portfolio page was excellent  the fact that my project was about photography and i choose to use gallery design.which made me happy about it.What i can do is to now add more images to make it attracting and for the best results and i am looking forward to do that before the deadline.

My website navigation appeared excellent to more people may be the once who found it difficult its because of using a different device.Navigation worked well for most people.

Again with the bio page the majority thought it was excellent and i am happy about it.



Majority people like the overall design of the website.Most people said i understood what the project was about.However i got comments on adding more images for my portfolio page and add more text. I am looking forward to improve my portfolio page.



From the comments it seems that most people used Androids device to fill the feedback form.Soo i will try and do more of this testing may be using laptops and Tablets



This being the last question part of the UX testing form.Majority were happy with my work.Most appearing comments about my website is that i should add more work that is add more images in the portfolio  page.I am going to improve my website as per feedback for the feedback form.

Research on photographers using sketchbooks or journals.

For our self study this week we were asked to research designers, filmmakers, photographers or writers who are using sketchbooks or journals in our subject area. Since my subject area is on photography I am going to do a research on photographers, look at their work and analyse their working process and also discuss what I have learnt from this research. Below are example of photographers i have been looking at their work; 1.Eric Kim Source;   Eric Kim image Eric Kim is a street photographer currently based in Los Angeles. He was born in 1988 in United State.
