Research on creating double exposure images
This post is i will explain how i did my research on using different softwares to create double exposure images.In my major project i will be doing photography where i will create a series of 6-8 double/multiple exposure images around the concepts of dreaming.
I watched several videos on youtube on how to create this images in simplest way.I found one interesting video that i found easy to understand and also i chose this video because it explains how to use snap speed to make double exposure images using android / iPhone. Since i have not yet borrowed the school cameras for my project i am going to use my mobile phone.
Here is the video

my work.
I am going to show the technical work of how I made the exposure images.
Steps.
I uploaded an image of a building I took around the campus and made it back and white using the silhouette feature.
I then reduced the brightness of the image to -100, I made the contrast of it to -74, warmth to +12 to have the it look good.Here are the screenshot of process;
I then decided to crop the image to get rid of the lower part.Actually when I was taking the photo I wanted to capture the original building and its reflection of it in the river but then for this project I am going to crop the lower part of it.
After I was done and felt that the image good I went to add the another image on top of it to have that exposure. I did this by clicking on the double exposure icon and chose an image from my device.I position the image but what I wanted is to have the tree on the second image to be clear but not the building.I used that exposure feature that looks like a drop to do it.
The below video shows how I saved the final results of my work.And if you look closely and carefully it shows all the editing I did for the process.
Final results.
Commentary- this being the first image i created i feel like did not come out the best but i believe i did my best. It is always good to live in a conducive environment with nature around especially for most students. According to me I study well in an environment with nature surrounding. The image did not come out as what i was thinking.Also, the fact that I still do not have that much experience in using the snapseed software but am looking forward to improve in the next series of images of my work.
The below images are example of my own work for my major project.I used the same process to create them as the one above.Also i sued the same software.
"IN YOUR HEAD"
Commentary- i created this double exposure image using snapseed after watching a clip from youtube.Its all about dreams of visiting the dream city where you can sit behind the flowing river and may be have your own time and meditate about life.I thought of naming the or describing the image as "IN YOUR HEAD"

This is a good start exploring photographic techniques and processes; however, the development and technical process of your work needs to shown much more in-depth. Please create contact sheets that show the images you have shot and add technical commentary discussing the settings you have used.
