Three amazing ideas.

In this post, we were asked to come up with three cool ideas for my project. Each idea is supposed to be accompanied by an image to exemplify it ( should have a source underneath it). I will then expand the ideas by adding more explanation.

Here are the three ideas;

1. Creating at least 10 images with a street photography theme.

Thought of creating a photographic project which will be a collection of between 6-10 images using the concept of street photography inspired by Linda Wisdom and other street photographers. For my project I will either choose to do street photography with a theme of homelessness or transportation. This will depend on the agreement of the theme with my tutor during project sign off. The aim is to improve and develop my understanding of manual photography techniques. These will be in the colored mode and will quality check in Lightroom or Photoshop.  


2. Creating a short film of 3-5 on different types of camera movement and angles.

Another idea that came to my mind was to create a short film of about 3-4 minutes. The film will be explaining and demonstrating different types of camera angles and movements used in filmmaking. 

3. Creating at least 10 images with a City and Urban Landscape theme.

Create a photographic project which will be a collection of between 6-10 images.  I will be using the concept of City and urban landscape photography. These will be in black and white and will quality check in Lightroom or Photoshop.

    A good start, but more research would have helped. I would also say that "street photography" is not a theme. That's what it actually is. So I would advise that you narrow this down further. "Social issues" would be a theme, so homelessness, prostitution etc. This can still be a street photography project.

Research on photographers using sketchbooks or journals.

For our self study this week we were asked to research designers, filmmakers, photographers or writers who are using sketchbooks or journals in our subject area. Since my subject area is on photography I am going to do a research on photographers, look at their work and analyse their working process and also discuss what I have learnt from this research. Below are example of photographers i have been looking at their work; 1.Eric Kim Source;   Eric Kim image Eric Kim is a street photographer currently based in Los Angeles. He was born in 1988 in United State.
