In class, we were matched with a partner where we were to look at their website and give feedback according to the following questions. Throughout I will also consider the layout, design, color, fonts/typography. I was matched with Raquel and here is the link to her website;

1.  Is the homepage pleasing to look at? YES


2. Does the homepage clearly show both visually and with text what the website is about (i.e

The About & Contact Page

 

1. Is the About page pleasing to look at? YES

6. Is the contact page pleasing to look at? YES

The Gallery Pages

Research on photographers using sketchbooks or journals.

For our self study this week we were asked to research designers, filmmakers, photographers or writers who are using sketchbooks or journals in our subject area. Since my subject area is on photography I am going to do a research on photographers, look at their work and analyse their working process and also discuss what I have learnt from this research. I started by researching  Andrew Prokos' white and black photography. His Ultra-high-definition black and white photos are known for their sharpness and clarity. In his photography work, Andrew Prokos focuses on design to capture the wonders of the urban atmosphere and its typically underappreciated intricacies.
